Dining Tables

Wedge

marble dining table

Wedge is geometry made dining table. The simplest form — a controlled angle, a deliberate edge — resolved in marble with the conviction that precision, carried far enough, becomes beauty.

The Form

Where Angle Becomes Table

Wedge begins with a decision: to follow the logic of the angle without compromise. The form does not soften at the edges or apologise for its geometry. The marble makes what might otherwise be cold into something warm, particular, and alive.

Geometry & Stone

The Simplest Form

There is something clarifying about Wedge. In a room of curves and softness, its geometry is not a contrast — it is a conviction. The table knows what it is, and the room adjusts accordingly. Precision at this level ceases to feel severe and becomes its own kind of warmth.

Stone Selection

Shown here in Silver Travertine. Wedge is available in the full Tiba Stone stone palette. The stone choice inflects the table's geometry considerably — lighter stones make the angles feel more refined and architectural; darker stones lend the wedge form a more dramatic, anchored quality. Selection is made during the commission process.

Geometry at this level of commitment ceases to be austere. Wedge asks the room to be precise — and in doing so, makes the room more honest about what it is.

Wedge follows an angular geometry that gives it a strong directional presence in a room. Unlike rectangular tables, it has a visual front — an angle that faces outward. It works particularly well in spaces that benefit from a strong geometric anchor.

The geometry responds differently to different stones. Lighter stones — Calacatta Viola, Fendy Grey — keep the form feeling refined and architectural. Darker stones — Beige Travertine, Rosso Levanto — make it feel more monumental. Both are valid approaches; the choice depends on the room.

Yes, in most configurations. The angular form distributes seating naturally and can accommodate end seating. Inquire with your specific requirements and we will advise on the configuration that works.

Yes. Wedge is a stone piece — the geometry only reads correctly in a material with this weight and presence. Metal or wood alternatives are not offered for this form.
