Five or six Calacatta Viola discs — each one slightly offset from the last — rise from the floor like a geological column caught mid-twist. The rotation is subtle, just enough to create shadow lines that change as you move around the piece. No two viewing angles are the same.

Every disc is cut from the same block to ensure continuity of veining, then hand-polished and stacked on a concealed steel spine. The degree of offset is set during consultation — from a gentle 5-degree rotation to a more dramatic 15-degree twist per segment.

The standard configuration is five or six discs, but we can accommodate anywhere from four to eight. More discs create a taller, more dramatic tower, while fewer produce a compact, more grounded form.
Not at all. During your consultation, we set the rotation angle between 5 and 15 degrees per disc. A smaller angle creates a subtle, elegant twist; a larger one produces a more sculptural, dynamic presence.
