Consoles Collection
fluted pedestal console
A single fluted column rises to support a generous surface — classical channeling meets modern restraint. The vertical grooves catch raking light and release it in soft gradations, giving the pedestal a rhythm that shifts throughout the day.

The fluted pedestal is milled from one continuous piece of blush-toned marble. Each channel is cut to identical depth and spacing, creating a rhythm of shadow and highlight that transforms with the angle of light. The result is a column that feels both ancient and unmistakably contemporary.

Where the channeled base meets the smooth tabletop, two geometries converge without apology. The top extends generously beyond the column, creating a cantilever that defies the mass below. Pink marble warms every room it enters — Scanalato does so with architectural conviction.

Scanalato is carved from Fior di Pesco. The material is hand-selected for the quality of its veining, surface character, and geological depth. Contact us to begin your commission.

Yes. The standard Scanalato features evenly spaced vertical channels, but the flute count and depth can be adjusted during consultation. Wider channels create bolder shadows; narrower ones produce a finer, more textile-like surface.
The pedestal is engineered with a substantial footprint and low centre of gravity. The mass of the marble itself — over 100 kg — provides inherent stability. A concealed steel plate within the base adds structural reinforcement for daily use.
All Tiba Stone pieces are sealed with a professional-grade penetrating sealant before delivery. For console use — decorative rather than wet-area — the surface is highly resistant to everyday contact. We recommend resealing every two to three years.
Absolutely. Scanalato is made to order, and the top can be extended or narrowed to suit your wall space. Share your dimensions during the inquiry and our design team will propose proportions that maintain the piece's visual balance.
Every Scanalato begins with a stone consultation. Inquire to discuss marble selection, flute detailing, and dimensions tailored to your space.
