Two monumental cylindrical columns rise from the floor to support an organic-edged seat of honey onyx. Colonna recalls the grandeur of classical architecture, reinterpreted as intimate domestic sculpture — a ruin made habitable.

Colonna borrows the language of ancient temples and translates it into something you can sit upon. The two thick cylindrical legs are turned from solid honey onyx, each one glowing with the stone's characteristic amber translucence. Above them, the seat slab refuses symmetry — its edges undulate with an organic rhythm that belongs to nature, not the draughtsman.

The seat of Colonna is finished with a wavy, hand-sculpted edge — a deliberate contrast to the perfect cylinders below. This tension between the geometric and the organic is what gives Colonna its character: the columns speak of order, the edge whispers of the quarry from which the stone was born.

Each seat slab is hand-sculpted by our stone artisans. The wavy edge profile is shaped and refined over several sessions, ensuring the organic line feels natural and balanced. No two Colonna edges are identical.
Yes. The standard column diameter is 200mm, but this can be increased or decreased during consultation. Larger columns create a more monumental presence; slimmer ones feel lighter and more contemporary.
Colonna is designed primarily for interior use. For covered outdoor applications such as loggias or protected terraces, we can apply an enhanced sealant treatment. Fully exposed outdoor placement is not recommended for onyx.
Approximately 130 kg. The solid stone construction gives Colonna a reassuring permanence. We coordinate white-glove delivery and placement, ensuring the bench is positioned exactly where you need it.
