Roll Ball achieves what the sphere alone cannot — it stops. A spherical form resolved into a washbasin by a single, considered cut: the horizontal plane that creates the rim, the interior that follows the outer curve inward.

The sphere is in perpetual motion — it has no base, no top, no front. Roll Ball makes the sphere an object by giving it a place to rest: a flat base machined to provide stability, and a circular rim cut from the upper hemisphere to create the basin. The form is as simple as this. The execution is not.

Roll Ball's continuous curved surface presents the stone's character without interruption or distraction. The full extent of the exterior hemisphere is readable in a single glance. Stones with bold, sweeping veining — Rosso Levanto, Verde Patricia — wrap around the form with particular drama.

A flat base area is machined into the lower hemisphere, providing a stable resting surface. The basin can also be specified with a custom cradle in matching or complementary stone for additional security and aesthetic completeness.
Standard outer diameter is approximately 380–420mm. Custom diameters — larger for dramatic scale, smaller for compact applications — are available on commission.
The interior follows the outer curvature for the majority of its depth, becoming slightly flatter at the base to accommodate the drain fitting without compromising stability. The visual reading from above remains fully circular.
Roll Ball is a countertop vessel basin by design. Its spherical form is intended to be read in full above the surface on which it sits. A custom plinth or cradle for freestanding positioning is available on commission.
